Nana, a washed-up 40-something drama writer who has repeatedly failed to get her work aired, discovers an old ‘Type-99 rifle’ in a prop storage. After that, she begins writing with unbreakable resolve, willing to do whatever it takes to secure a slot.
However, as her interactions with the rifle grow, she becomes torn between compromising to meet the demands of broadcasters—such as featuring a standout protagonist—or staying true to the story she genuinely wants to tell. The more time she spends with the rifle, the deeper her inner conflict grows.
One day, while listening to the rifle's stories as she always does, Nana realizes that its trigger isn't the original one but has been altered with a different piece of metal.
“If I tell you my story, can you grant my wish?”
Can Nana resist the pressures of commercialism and complete the rifle’s story in her own way?
And will the rifle finally achieve the wish it has been holding onto all these years?
